Why can’t political debate be about the facts instead of the spin?

I watch with fascination the debate over the right to work legislation which is being considered back in my home state of Wisconsin.  I see the rhetoric coming from the unions and their members and also from Governor Walker.  I see people whom I respect posting stories they know(or should know) are false on Facebook […]

So damn tired of partisan politics!

Free Speech is Hard!

William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law! Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil? William Roper: Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that! Sir Thomas More: Oh? And when the last law was […]

Happy 60th Birthday to my brother, Raymond Keith Cassity

Just wanted to send birthday greetings to my next oldest sibling, Ray Cassity, back in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.  Realized today that he is going to be 60 (sixty) years old!  Wow, it just seems yesterday he was in his terrible twenties.  I am so glad for all he did for me when we were growing up. […]

Much better day today

I am feeling a little better today.  I took some positive steps for my future and reaffirmed to myself some old plans.  I believe that today can be a good start to the future.
